The Law Offices of Sarah Lampi Little focuses solely on consumer and small business bankruptcy needs. It’s what we do. With more than 45 years of combined experience, it is our goal to provide legal services to clients looking to manage their financial burdens and alleviate their debt by filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
Sarah Lampi Little received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2001, and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from California State University Hayward. She has worked as a tax consultant for Ernst and Young and as a bankruptcy consultant for Bankruptcy Management Corporation, which specializes in large scale Chapter 11 administration.
“I enjoy what I do because it gives me an opportunity to meet with people that, for most of their lives, will never hire an attorney because legal costs are prohibitive. I get fast results for my clients, which relieves stress and ultimately puts them in a better position than they were in – financially and emotionally – before I met with them. It is gratifying to offer struggling, frightened people a real solution.” |
Bill H. Lampi has been a practicing bankruptcy attorney in the Bay Area for more than 40 years. A graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Business Administration, he earned his law degree at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. For seven years he served as a Bankruptcy Trustee in the Northern District of California; this experience gave him a broad understanding of the bankruptcy process.
“I like what I do. I think bankruptcy law is one of the best laws on the books because it allows honest, overwhelmed people to pay a relatively modest attorney fee to take an action that will occur quickly, be effective, and lift a tremendous pressure from the individual.” |
M. Colby Freeman received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2009 and earned his Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric, with a minor in Celtic Studies, from the University of California at Berkeley in 2006. He served as the Chair of the Public Interest Law Foundation at USF, and was a clerk with the San Francisco District Attorney's Office for 4 years. In addition, he was a clerk for the San Francisco Superior Court.
"I returned to school and enrolled in law school because of a desire to try to help people navigate a complicated legal system. The people that I see in this office tend to be afraid, desperate and often embarrassed that they even need to consider bankruptcy. The fact that I can make those very same people feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off of their shoulders in a fifteen minute consultation makes me know that my decision to return to school was the right one." |
